Sharon Langdale

Armed with a college B.A degree from the University of California San Bernardino, Sharon Langdale made a left turn from her social worker position at the County of San Bernardino to managing a casino/hotel in Virginia City, Nevada. That experience convinced her she could handle a true adventure in Colorado where she and her husband built a restaurant and cabins on the shore of an alpine lake. Her first novel, "Vein of Justice", is an Arizona State Professional Writers 2015 Honorable Mention award winning mystery and love story. It is set in a historical gold mining town where greed and gold fever ignites deadly action. Sharon is working on her second mystery novel, "Maggie of Ute Tribe" which begins with a double murder in Colorado and a life threatening adventure in the Tonto National Forest Hellsgate wilderness area of Arizona where she stumbles on to a Native American Apache child. Deputy Maggie Hernandez must solve the murder cases which result from the theft of historical Native American healing knowledge before the key that point to a cure for the world's most despised disease is lost.
