Frank Madsen

Frank Bruun Madsen (born 1962) lives in Denmark. His very first assignment in the comic book business was writing and drawing LEGO's comic book series, Jim Spaceborn. Later Frank developed his own Kurt Dunder series, which has sold more than 20,000 copies in Denmark. Since 2010 Frank has written the weekly comic strip Eks Libris for national newspaper Weekendavisen, illustrated by his wife Sussi Bech. A book version of one of the strips, "Kitty with the Big Balls", became a popular cult classic in Denmark during 2014. March 2016 Frank was nominated Best Danish Comics Writer by the Guild of Danish Comics Writers and Artists.

Frank and Sussi (and their cat Blackie) work from their home 20 km north of Copenhagen, where Frank also writes his children's books, many of which are illustrated by Sussi.

Frank, Kurt and Kitty are all active on facebook - and Frank on twitter as well.
