Cara M. King graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelors of Science in Management and a Film Studies minor. After receiving a Masters in Television Production from Boston University, she worked in Los Angeles on the number one ranked prime-time drama, The West Wing. In 2009, Cara was a finalist in the prestigious Slamdance TV Writing Contest for an original drama script, Crescent City, based on Nola Blues. She lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia with her husband and one-year-old son. She continues to pursue her love for writing.
