Marian White

The South Carolina native spent her 20’s living and working in China, Washington, DC, New York City, and Boston before settling in Palm Beach County. With every move, she mastered the art of folding bankers boxes, repurposing bubble wrap, and unabashedly asking for directions. She also managed to dip her toes in an array of communication fields along the way including politics, hospitality, public relations, and journalism.

Most recently she was a lifestyle staff writer for a popular online news site in Boston, covering the city’s food and dining scene. Marian wrote over 1,700 articles with a focus on restaurants, nightlife, innovative food-tech startups, and local events. Her work has been quoted in various media outlets including Eater, the Boston Business Journal, and Jezebel. In just two years, the author developed a loyal readership and managed to build a successful brand for herself in the Bay State. While living in Boston, she also earned her Master’s Degree in global marketing communications from Emerson College.
