Long before it was cool, Ron Newton was teaching people how to use soft skills to engage each other cooperatively and productively. In 1977, at age 26, he founded a wilderness camp program that for 2 decades helped 1,200 troubled teens learn how to think correctly and make responsible decisions.
In 1992, frustrated business leaders and insurers contacted Ron, insisting that he had the solutions they needed to improve employee engagement. Since then, Ron and his company PEAK Training Solutions has trained thousands of employee-leaders in 50 companies on 5 continents in how to use devilishly difficult soft skills to improve cooperative efforts in their work places.
Ron's wilderness-to-workplace journey is recounted in his business book No Jerks on the Job, selected by Small Business Trends as one of the "10 Best Management Books For Small Business Owners."
Through his non-profit ministry Integrity at Work, Ron works to increase the intersection of biblical faith and the front line of ordinary labor. As host of the video series Blue Collar Man Stuff, he celebrates the work of ordinary blue-collar laborers in a way that ignites spiritual purpose & passion for work.
Ron Newton is a 1978 graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary. He is a dynamic communicator, a Vistage International and CEO Institute resource speaker, contributes to numerous publications, and appears as a work place culture expert on Fox News Radio and other media outlets.
