Lela Migirov

Prof. Lela Migirov received her professorship in February 2011 and spent two months of sabbatical between May and June 2011 in Paris. She started painting during this period and the high performance on the best Parisian patisseries inspired her to start working on the book on this fascinating topic.

Prof. Migirov lived a few months in 2015 in Paris and created the design of this artist's book during the course on food and café culture in Paris College of Art.

The English version of the book was first released on the solo exhibition of Lela's paintings in October 2015 (Tel Aviv), and was first presented in the book store "Tolaat Sfarim" in December 2015 (Tel Aviv) and then on the Artist's Books Fair in January 2016 (Tel Aviv).

The Russian version was first presented in the book store "Babel" in February 2016 (Tel Aviv) and in Association "Glagol" in March 2016 (Paris).

The French version was first presented in February 2016 (Jerusalem) and in Salon du livre in March 2016 (Paris).
