She holds two degrees in higher education – a BA in psychology and a BA in sociology – both of which have contributed to the lifestyle she lives now. In addition, she is a social activist and animal lover. "When Love is Unrequited: First Steps to Survive" is another book that draws from her experience as a psychologist.
