Jane Richmond learned to knit at age 5 from her mother and aunt. She relearned the craft as a teenager through books at her local library. She shares an equal love of math and art, knitwear design blends these two passions perfectly. Jane has been designing and publishing knitting patterns since 2008 and finds inspiration in people, places, and things in her hometown of Victoria, BC.
As a knitter, she enjoys both the process and the product of the craft and makes every effort to create pieces that are just as fun to knit as they are to wear. A minimalist at heart, you'll find her designs are often classic and simple. As a designer she is dedicated to providing cleanly written patterns that are easy to read and follow, with plenty of white space and crisp photography.
