Swati Lodha

I am a versatile author of non – fiction books. I published my first book as a collection of Hindi Poems at an age of 17. Another collection of poetry came in year 1998 with my actor husband Shailesh Lodha in the form of two perspectives shown by two poets on the same topic. It was a unique experiment titled “Ek Baat teri, Ek baat meri”.

The transition from poetry to prose happened when I wrote the bestseller “Come on, get set go” with Shailesh as a co-author. The book won “Rashtriya Raj Bhasha Puraskar” from Government of India in 2002 and was translated in more than 15 languages. The book talks about the concept of failure and how to face it by self-assessing our personality.

My next book titled “Why women are, what they are” was published in 2004. The book won rave reviews from Asian Women and was translated in more than 10 languages. I use this book extensively to train women for Leadership, Self-Management & Entrepreneurship. Many of the experiences shared by women in this book still ring a bell after a decade.

My latest book “Don’t raise your Children, Raise Yourself” is my labour of love for children whom I met and guided in last two decades as Life Transformation Coach, a Teacher and a Mentor. In my various roles as an Entrepreneur (I founded my first Co. at 22), an Academician (I have served as Director of various Business Schools in India) and a Motivational Speaker & Trainer (I have trained more than 10,000 students & professionals). I came across various issues in lives of children which needed attention and solution. This book is unique and interesting as it connects Parenting 2.0 with Indian Mythology by journey of moon through 27 asterisms forming 27 chapters of the book.

I am a founder of SWASH Pvt. Ltd & LIFE LEMONADE is my latest Corporate Training Venture. I love to conduct training workshops and speak to youth, women, corporate professionals and parents to bring learning and transformation.
