Francis O'Neill

Francis O'Neill writes on holistic-spiritual matters - in the Mind, Body & Spirit genre. Background

As well as being a professional astrologer and writer, he has worked in archaeology, and lectured in adult education.

He was born on the south coast of Ireland and raised in the UK. Raised as a Catholic, by his late teens he had become an atheist and existentialist in his beliefs.

In his twenties, following a path into philosophy and psychology he came across the works of Carl Jung. At the time he also experienced a number of paranormal events, seeing ghosts and UFOs. These experiences brought him to question his existential worldview. He then began his lifelong adventure into spirituality,

He has a degree in transpersonal psychology and diplomas in astrology (with schools in the UK). He says, "Western astrology became the foundation stone for much of my understanding of how life actually works – it's a fabulous tool when understood properly."

He lives in the Cotswolds UK. Sadly his partner, the musician and composer, Annie Locke, has now passed over.
