Antwyn Price

Antwyn Price was born in Singapore of British parents. He attended Fort Street School in Sydney, St Mark’s School in Dallas, then Harvard College and the University of Oklahoma. A US Marine of the late 1950s and a multilingual worldwide resident afterwards, he has based this fictionalized historical trilogy about World War Two in the Pacific Theater on his own experience and that of other historical people who were involved.

Paradise in Ruins: A Novel (View) of the Pacific War ©2018 is the first book of the trilogy. This novel looks behind the scenes of the Pacific conflict in the campaigns of Admiral Chester Nimitz and General Douglas MacArthur.

Colonies in Ruins: Transformed by the Pacific War ©2019 is a series of short stories about the demise and transformation of French, British, Dutch, and American colonies as a result of the Pacific War.

An Empire in Ruins: But a Formidable Adversary is the final book of the series © 2022. It looks at the major battles from both Allied and Japanese viewpoints, including a foretaste of the Korean conflict.
