At the age of 14 I left school and enrolled myself into the famous University of Life, eventually becoming marketing director of a US based multinational packaging house - and the father of four. From 1987 to 2001 I operated my own packaging consultancy and label manufacturing unit in Europe and latterly in the Middle East.
Retiring in 2002 from mainstream business, I migrated with my second wife, Delia, to the Highlands of Scotland, there to write fiction and occasional verse. As I also paint in a variety of media I publish the results in the form of greetings cards, calendars, prints etc. However my over-riding interest has remained focussed on what I hope and certainly intend to be high quality, high impact fiction. Some of my short stories have won awards. I have self-published one anthology entitled Twenty Bites, then a second called Twelve of Diamonds.
I have also self published two full length novels: the literary adventures More Deaths Than One and Going with Gabriel, and a pair of booklets featuring 25 of my paintings with their accompanying versed and narrative.
Apart from the actual writing and editing I personally designed these books and their covers.
April 1 2016 I published my autobiography SO WHAT? and at the same time a third novel, Like An Angel Sings.
All my works are printed and supplied in high quality format by Lightning Source.
