A free-spirited Southern girl, Sherry von Klitzing ran away from home in the late 70's to become a "flower-child" while still following the pursuit of her education. Grounded in the spoken and written word, English was not enough. The romance of a handsome German led her to German studies and ultimately living in Germany as she continued work on a doctorate program. She married a German noble, Barron by title, and lived as an expatriate in Germany and Austria.
With a financial planning background, she established both an Austrian and U.S. securities company in Vienna. Her contributions to the book "Living in Vienna, a Guide for the English-Speaking Community" and "American Women and Work in Austria" catapulted her into the creation of The Expatriates Guide as she has witnessed the international growth in Atlanta.
With extensive experience in financial planning, mortgage origination and real estate acquisition, she helps clients secure their financial futures both in property transactions financial planning and U.S. tax matters.
Ms. von Klitzing has published many articles in her professional career and continues her literary endeavors sharing her depth of experience.
