Kate Bowditch grew up in Idaho, staying outdoors as much as possible. She became aware of the way of the silent communications of the natural world early in life.
First, a teacher for Special Education in the70's and 80's, she later became a hypnotherapist and counselor. Her books build upon the knowledge she has gained from her years close to the subconscious world.
Exploring what she calls "the edge", Kate courageously documented all the miracles and wonders of her husband's journey into death, which she later produced as a book.
She enjoys writing "from the edge"--true happenings that are hard to explain, but that make perfect sense at the time.
Retiring to Yakima, WA, in 2017, she now devotes her time to artwork, working in acrylic, watercolor, and colored pencil.
As with her writings, her paintings illustrate both the natural world and the "edge" within us all.
