I have been writing stories from my teenage years. It was not unusual to see me around school scribbling ideas in a notebook.

I've always been an avid reader of the Spenser detective series by Robert B Parker but I also have a fondness for Nancy Drew mysteries and Trixie Belden. I also enjoy thrillers by Robert Ludlum and classic fiction by authors such as Alexandre Dumas.

I grew up in a small city in the lower half of the North Island of New Zealand and consider it my home.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in English and I'm also a qualified journalist.

Since leaving the newspaper profession behind I have continued honing my craft by writing fan fiction - stories using characters from various television shows. This has allowed me entry into worlds a kid raised in a lower middle-class, one-income family could only dream about.

I currently live in Palmerston North, New Zealand.
