Carmel Lile

Carmel Lile is from Louisville, Ky., and grew up hearing stories about the Great Flood of 1937 from her parents, who met because of the flood. She is published in children's poetry and has since pursued historical fiction for adults. She lives now in a small town in Kentucky.
