Trinidad Rico

Dr. Trinidad Rico is Associate Professor and Director of Cultural Heritage and Preservation Studies at Rutgers University and Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Archaeology of University College London. She holds a PhD in Anthropology from Stanford University, an MA in Social and Cultural Anthropology from Stanford University, an MA in Principles of Conservation from University College London, and a BA in Archaeology and Anthropology from the University of Cambridge. Her areas of research in critical heritage studies includes debates on risk and disasters, heritage and religion, cosmopolitanism, and the vernacularization of heritage discourses and expertise, and a general concern with the improvement and critique of methods.
