Daniel Jamingtsang Garrett

Daniel Jamingtsang Garrett -whoever the hell that really is- appears to be a poet, composer, singer-songwriter and former diplomat, the first US Department of State Foreign Service Officer in fact to be officially trained in Tibetan.

The government, as governments are want to, did not like his penchant for truth-telling, and so currently he is an independent researcher focusing on abrupt climate change, water security, and innovative adaptation.

At his core there appears to be some sort of unfathomable joy wrapped in layers and layers of beautifully swirling clouds, like many of the places he has climbed. He is passing through this life on route to Elsewhere, and greets all of you with sincere warmth and wonderment, hoping merely to succeed in doing no -or at least very little- harm on this particular, rather bizarre, journey.
