S. M. Harding

S. M. Harding has been a teacher at grade school, high school and college levels, a cabdriver in Chicago, a secretary, an art director and a chef. She started writing fiction in the mountains of northern New Mexico when snow closed the roads. She's published more than thirty short stories in various anthologies. She lives in Indiana and revels in a retirement that's centered on writing, editing and teaching writing at the Indiana Writers Center. She edited Writing Murder, a collection of essays about writing crime fiction by fourteen Midwest authors.
