David Allin

David Allin graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1968, and was promptly drafted into the U. S. Army. He served as an infantryman in Viet Nam, where he was awarded the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Purple Heart, and two Bronze Stars. After Viet Nam he transferred to Military Intelligence as a Russian language specialist, serving three tours in West Germany and traveling to the Soviet Union as an arms control inspector. He retired from the Army as a First Sergeant in 1991, and worked in the health care industry for twenty years before fully retiring. He now resides with his wife in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where he still plays with cars.
