Anne Vilen

Anne Vilen is Senior Writer and Project Manager for EL Education (formerly Expeditionary Learning). Before joining EL Education in 2011, she taught middle-school and high-school language arts and served as director of program and professional development at an EL Education mentor school. She is coauthor, with Ron Berger, of The Leaders of Their Own Learning Companion; Learning That Lasts: Challenging, Engaging, and Empowering Students with Deeper Instruction; and Transformational Literacy: Making the Common Core Shift with Work that Matters.
