A. F. B. Griffey

A. F. B. Griffey is married with three grown up sons, a young granddaughter and a young grandson. After years working with pre-school and primary school children, completion of a B A in Early Childhood Studies and time as a college lecturer, A. F. B. Griffey decided to focus more on her writing, hence her first book of lively, fun poems for 4 - 7s 'Revenge of the Goldfish' was created, followed swiftly by 'Dragons, Slime and Soggy Socks', plus 'Verity the Venomous Viper'.

One advantage of so many years spent within the classroom, is that almost all the poems, found within her books, have been ‘tested and approved’ by school and pre-school children. Children can be harsh critics!

Happily settled in the South of England, AFB Griffey enjoys spending time with family, running on the beach, music, poetry, travel, reading murder mysteries and the classics, theatre and life! She donates profits, from her books, to reputable Cancer and Alzheimer charities.
