Scott Austin Martin

Scott Austin Martin, M.A., LPC, is the founder of The Authentic Masculinity Project (AMP) and the creator of a comprehensive body of work on masculine identity, emotional regulation, intimacy, and embodied leadership.

With more than two decades of experience across clinical therapy, somatic processing, mindfulness education, and men’s coaching, Scott’s work is grounded in a simple but radical premise: men are not broken — they are undertrained in the mechanisms that govern safety, identity, energy, and connection.

Rather than offering motivation or surface-level advice, Scott teaches the mechanics beneath behavior and relationships — how nervous systems organize under pressure, how identity collapses into performance or withdrawal, how intimacy erodes when safety is lost, and how alignment restores presence, direction, and integrity.

Scott is a licensed professional counselor and somatic processing therapist, but his books are not therapy manuals. They are orientation maps designed to help readers understand what is actually happening beneath conflict, burnout, disconnection, and loss of purpose — and where leverage for real change exists.

His work spans multiple audiences and developmental stages, including:

Scott lives in Texas, where he continues to write, teach, and develop the AMP ecosystem, including the ReForged identity reconstruction program and AMP Certified Coach training — ensuring this work can be carried forward with integrity, clarity, and depth.
