Lenore Maio

I am a retired Florida Acupuncture Physician residing in Martin County in Florida. The east side coastal areas of Palm Beach County and Martin County are the main settings for my Dr. Ma Mystery series books.

One crazy Border Collie, and my garden keeps me busy when I am not going to the dog club, cycling with the dog, hiking with the dog, or writing!

Prior to attending graduate school for Traditional Chinese Medicine later in life, I had a full career in law enforcement and emergency field medicine. I also competed with horses and dogs, taught martial arts, meditation, Tai Chi, and Qi Gong, taught emergency medical response, medical CEUS, consulted on Police Mountain Biking, taught firearms, defensive tactics and Diversity at the Police Academy, ran for fun and charity, cycled for fun and charity, sang with a Gospel group and more, ball room danced, ugh, I dont know, etc. etc.

I have written professionally for many years, in various venues. Fiction is, by far, my favorite.

I hope you enjoy my tales.
