Matthew Snader

Matthew Snader grew up in Pennsylvania, and moved to Alaska in 2014. He shares many of these experiences in his books, which are his family's experiences in Alaska.

As one can imagine, living off the grid in Alaska with 7 children can be quite interesting. The camouflage limo the family uses also adds plenty of rich fodder for interesting situations.

Book 1 (Pa to Prudhoe Bay) is about the first trip the Snader family made to Alaska. Book 2 (Return to Alaska) is the story of how they moved to Alaska, built a cabin, and lived off the grid. Book 3 recounts the Snader's first complete year as Alaska residents. This involves lots, and lots of fishing! 50 pound Halibut, King Salmon, and other fish are part of the catch.
