Jackie Fuchs

Jackie Fuchs is a writer and attorney whose work has appeared in The Huffington Post, Boing Boing and Listverse, among others.

She is perhaps best known as Jackie Fox, the bass-player for the seminal ‘70s all-girl rock band, The Runaways.

Fuchs is also an in-demand speaker and media guest on the subject of sexual assault and bystander intervention, appearing on shows such as Crime Time, NPR’s Q and The Madeleine Brand Show, Huffington Post Live and The Insider. She was the keynote speaker at Carnegie Mellon University's 2016 MOSAIC conference on gender and a keynote panelist at PopCon 2018 at the Museum of Pop Culture.

Fuchs' novelette The Bitter Fruit of Forever is published by Howling Fox Books in both print and Kindle editions. The story of young rebels fighting a brutal regime, the work is a haunting exploration of the long-term effects of violence, drugs and survivor guilt.
