Patricia Striar Rohner

Patricia Striar Rohner is a mother of four and grandmother of twelve. She is a LICSW, an artist and writer. Pat is a graduate of Brandeis University and has a MSW from Simmons School of Social Work. She has published a number of short stories including; My Name is Rifkah, in Flash Point, a literary journal, Sarah, in Goldamagazine, and The Suitors, in True Story Magazine. Her stories are part of a collection she is writing about women. Pat was a top ten finalist in the Arts & Letters Prizes in 2004. Her debut novel is "Tzippy the Thief." It won first prize at the Southeast Book Festival in the general fiction category. Her next novel to be published is "Shari's Secret." She did a Book talk on "Shari's Secret" at The Broken Sound Club in Boca Raton, Florida in March of 2019. She is currently studying for her MFA in creative writing at Lesley University in Cambridge, Ma. She won first prize in the Nowhere Travel Magazine Contest in 2019 for her story, "A Day in Crown Heights." Her reward was $1000. She is working on her third novel, entitled "Tsipi the Maverick."
