Sofia Batalha

Certified in Ecopsychology, Indigenous and Liberation Psychology and Applied Mythology by Pacifica University in the USA. Sofia is an eco-mythic activist, briefly part of the Advisory Board of The Emergence Network. In 2022, one of her essays, The Blind Oracle, was selected for the Doing Things with Stories (DTwS) Global Participation by ArtEZ University of the Arts, Oxfam, and Radboud University.

For over 20 years she worked with places and people, learning, studying, experiencing, sharing and connecting emotional and symbolic bridges of relationship and presence. (Re)learning to live in immanence, belonging, and consciousness, embracing eco-mythology, eco-psychology, eco-philosophy, eco-spirituality, decolonization, and multiple art forms. She speaks from mythological and philosophical activism, to recreate rituals, stories and mystery – for the three M’s: Mystery, Metaphors and Myths recall our primordial and complex wisdom of paradox.
