Solène Colombel

Currently an English teacher at the University of Rennes 2, Mazier, Solène Colombel pursues her passion for transmission through teaching, writing and photography.

Her studies in English (University of Rochester, Master 2 in Anglophone Studies at Nanterre, 2021), theology (University of Angers, 2017), photography (Professional photographer filmmaker certification École des Gobelins, Paris, 2024), her academic work on Disney and Tolkien, her travels as well as her encounters, enrich his imagination.

She is also a member of the Mythopoeic Society, an organization located in Altadena, California, dedicated to the study of mythopoeia, fantasy and mythological literature, the works of Tolkien, Charles Williams and C. S. Lewis, all three members of the Inklings.
