Mr. Alan D Schmitz

Alan Schmitz has recently retired from his business to spend more time writing the novels he loves. His business has allowed him to travel extensively to four of the six continents. When asked, he will tell you that he has been blessed with a rich variety of life experiences and has met many colorful characters all of which he tries to bring alive through his writing.

Alan is an instrument rated pilot flying mostly a twin engine Cessna. His first book was published on a dare from his son to complete the book he dreamed of writing. "The Senator" series of books come mostly from the request of readers of "Memories Never Die". It was because of their encouragement that he began the new series.

Alan is an avid skier and during the winter months you will most likely find him in Vail Colorado. When he is not skiing, golfing in Wisconsin or Phoenix Arizona are his favorite past times, besides writing of course.
