Robert Van den Berg

I am an independent IT consultant, with over 15 years of IT experience. Starting as system engineer in 1999, I was introduced to a wide variety of hardware and software, among which SQL Server (at that time: version 7.0). I found that I liked working with databases; both the complexity of the technology and the relevance of data to the business processes appealed to me, and still does. That’s why I decided to specialize in SQL Server. Since then, I’ve held a number of database related roles: consultant, engineer, architect and database administrator.
