L. Bryan Williams

Dr. L. Bryan Williams serves as President of McCall College in McCall, ID. The college serves the higher educational needs of the West Central Mountains region and the Treasure Valley of Idaho. Professionally, Dr. Williams is a Social and Bio Ethicist. He offers a Bioethics training program with Professor Alex Chamberlain of St. Luke’s Boise to provide a supply of health care professionals in this much-needed area. As well, Dr. Williams assists hospitals and health care systems in the moral development of ethical cultures. He focuses on improving ethics committee structure and the activation of Ethics Resource/Consultation Teams. Prior to this role, Dr. Williams served as Associate Professor of Ethics, Religion, and Health Care at Warner Pacific College in Portland, OR. He is Past President of the Wesleyan Philosophical Society. He coached the Oregon regional champion Ethics Bowl team, an undergraduate debate-style team. Dr. Williams‘ scholarship emphasizes moral development in social settings such as health care, education, and religion. Dr. Williams hold a Ph.D. in Religion and Social Ethics (Bioethics) from the University of Southern California.
