Jae Carvel

Jae Carvel creates stories inspired by the lives of her Eastern Oregon ancestors. Secrets from the Little Red Box, 1899-1920 is the second book in her Strawberry Mountain series. It follows By the River, 1840-1899. Since retiring from teaching junior high, Jae travels, gardens, plays golf and writes novels. She is blessed with a wonderful family, her husband, four children, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren--a full house for one who grew up as an only child.
