Ms. Sandra Rose Simmons

Sandra Rose Simmons discovered a passion for creative writing in high school. Her career path led to other pursuits including teaching, social work and creation and development of programs and services for private, nonprofit and governmental organizations. These experiences inspired ideas for many stories about people and their struggles to not only survive but thrive and find meaning in life. Family and friendships played a major role in her life and helped her maintain balance and perspective as a working single mother and caregiver to elderly parents and her life partner. Her stories also reflect interests in nature, travel, hiking dancing and spirituality.
