Marianna Avery

Marianna Avery is a professional Russian translator and instructor that enjoys teaching Russian to children.

As a Russian native speaker and naturalized US citizen, Marianna has performed translation services for international projects and in business environments. She began to share her love of her native language through teaching others, and discovered she was especially passionate about teaching children. In her early experience teaching American children, she realized Russian textbooks were not suited to them. Her book "Soroka. Russian for Kids" is the result of her commitment to create a Russian language learning experience tailored to young American students.
