Sean Andrew Heaney

Sean Andrew Heaney received his Masters Degree in Poetry from Bennington College as a recipient of the Jane Kenyon Scholarship. He wrote a weekly Poetry column for the Boston Herald and worked on Special Collections for the Boston Public Library, and was librarian at The Boston Ballet School for Dance Education. He was a member of the Stone Soup Poetry group in Cambridge, MA for many years, and has read his work all over New England, in Los Angeles and New York City. He was a guest poet at The Vermont Studio Center. He has traveled extensively throughout America, Canada and Ireland. A native New Englander, he now lives in the Northeast Kingdom in his home state of Vermont. He is a member of The Academy Of American Poets.
