Ed Price has authored and published architectural content at enterprise companies like Microsoft and Google. He holds a degree in art and design from DigiPen Institute of Technology, a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, an MBA in Technology Management, and he's been an instructor at Bellevue College for 8 years, teaching classes in both Art/Design and Computer Science. Ed has helped publish 28 books, including 9 as an author.
He previously worked at Microsoft on Azure, Copilot, Power BI, Power Platform, SQL Server, Visual Studio, SharePoint, Excel, Surface, Windows, and Small Basic, and at Google on Cloud, Gemini, Docs, and Meet. He holds 5 patent awards for multi-touch designs on Microsoft Surface.
At Microsoft, Ed co-founded a program that teaches 1K+ students a year how to code! Ed has also worked with teenagers for volunteer organizations for 25+ years. Before Microsoft, he worked at Disneyland for 3 years, worked on videogames for Nintendo, IBM, Jaleco, and Square/Enix, and he helped run two animation studios, creating CG cartoons.
