James E. Bruce Sr

Dr. James Edward Bruce, Sr. is a native Bostonian who has a genuine passion for teaching and writing. Each of his more than 25 published books are centered on motivational, educational, inspirational and spiritual themes.

"Character Is What We Build", his 12-book series, is a custom children's book series that is designed to teach and encourage character-building for children ages 4-9. Though available in both paperback and Kindle eBook series, you can currently get the Kindle eBook version FREE with each purchase of the corresponding paperback version.

Dr. Bruce serves the Boston Public Schools as a Substitute Teacher for all of its 128 schools. He teaches in virtually all subject areas in grades K-12, including students with special needs.

Dr. Bruce is currently teaching English to children in various schools throughout Beijing, China. He also provides both private tutoring in English to children as well conversational English to adults and business executives. His unique, and highly-interactive style of teaching children through music has garnered wide accolades from teachers, administrators and parents.

Dr. Bruce indicated that his goal was to get more people to write and become published authors. He is on a mission.
