By writing this chapter about the challenges of being a single woman in a judgmental society, I seek to reach out to other women who experience a similar life style to mine.

As a result, they suffer because they feel “rejected”. I want to encourage them that there is life out of all the odds.

My wish is for people to understand that if one is faced with a problem, they should not give up. Instead, they must fight like hell. This life is theirs. In life, do not allow situations to take over and dictate which way you should go. Keep fighting until you win the battle. We have what it takes within us to come out at the other end feeling stronger and equipped.

Humans always adjust. Just don’t short-change yourself. In today’s world, one has to hustle in order to survive. It is not an easy life out there. We live in a world where we have good people and bad people. However, one has to keep their faith intact and seek their strength from their divine source.

I am grateful to have been given the opportunity to inspire through my writing. This process has not only liberated me, but has brought some healing. Not many women want to share about that which has brought them shame and pain, but I will take the veil off and speak out for all of us.

Our beauty comes from within not from what has happened to us.
