Sara L. Hirsch is a Master's student of Human Resources Management/Development and Work-Life Relations at Linköping University in Sweden. What drives Sara is an unquenchable thirst for learning, constant discovery and a desire to create bridges between cultures for collaboration. What makes collaborative efforts work, and why do some, despite having the resources at hand - fail? What are the personal and societal structures involved in creating a society where there is opportunity for everyone?
Sara's work is published via VDM Verlag or Omniscriptum Publishing Group (Germany Saarbrücken) and the publication is distributed through Amazon.com, Adlibris among others. She is also published through Huffington Post under the Healthy Living section on their blog. Sara is an entrepreneur and co-founder of a nonprofit organization focusing on empowering women and children both in the US and abroad. She's been invited as an official speaker at The Newark Peace Summit, Guest Lecture Speaker on the Peace Boat and managed international productions aimed at banning Nuclear Weapons Testing. The nonprofit was a program partner organizing the World Fashion Forum at the UN in 2013 hosting leaders from both worlds of Fashion and Development. Earlier this year she was invited as an Advisory Board Member of an online crowdfunding platform. While studying to complete a Master's Degree, Sara is continually working commercially and on non-commercial up-and-coming projects.
Sara splits her time between New York and Sweden.
