Benjamin E. Caldwell

Benjamin E. Caldwell, PsyD is a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#42723) and an Adjunct Professor at California State University Northridge. He spent more than 10 years as chair of the Legislative and Advocacy Committee for the California Division of AAMFT, working on issues like California's first-in-the-nation ban on reparative therapy for minors.

His research has been featured in the Journal of Marital and Family Therapy and American Journal of Family Therapy, among others, and he has contributed chapters to books including Culturally Sensitive Supervision and Training and Couple, Marriage, and Family Therapy Supervision. He regularly provides workshops to local, state, and national audiences on issues of ethics and technology in mental health care. His writing can be found on SimplePractice's Pollen magazine and the Psychotherapy Notes blog.

He lives in Los Angeles.
