Chaplain Jeffrey Funk is a Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) with Healthcare Chaplains Ministry Association (HCMA), where he serves as the executive director. He has facilitated grief support groups, a cancer support group, and a COPD support group. He has served as a Hospital Chaplain, Police Chaplain, Corporate Chaplain, and a Chaplain with the Boy Scouts. He was a farmer, funeral director, grief counselor, pastor, and missionary. He teaches a Pastoral Care and Chaplaincy course at Talbot School of Theology. He is the father of five: two died at birth and one at age 24. He has an adopted son with chronic medical and mental illness issues. He has been married for 40 years to the love of his life and enjoys fishing, gardening, and playing with the grandkids.
