Bill Black is a retired business consultant, entrepreneur, musician, and the creator of BlackPapers, Ask A Retired Guy, The TUX Report, the TUX Learns... children’s book series, and Exit Coach Radio.
After more than 30 years working with business owners—and interviewing hundreds of advisors, authors, entrepreneurs, and other interesting characters—Bill discovered that the stories people connected with most weren’t always the big ones. They were the everyday ones.
Today, he writes with warmth, humor, and a little hard-earned wisdom about retirement, marriage, aging, technology, travel, dogs, grocery stores, and the strange little frustrations of modern life. Readers have described his writing as feeling like “pulling up a chair with an old friend.”
Bill lives in Colorado with his wife, Janus, and Tux, their young Aussiedoodle and increasingly important creative partner. When he isn’t writing, he’s usually making music, chasing trout with a fly rod, chasing little white balls around a golf course, traveling somewhere, or trying to understand why everything now requires a password, a verification code, and apparently an app.
Steady on,
Bill
