Orisabiyi Oyin Williams

Orisabiyi is a Medical Biller and Coder Specialist, first time Author and mother of two.

Orisabiyi was born Kristi Williams in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and later moved to Tulsa at the age of 10. She graduated from Memorial High School in 1993. In 1995, Kristi received a Certificate in Medical Coding at Career Point Business School. She has worked in the medical field for over 20 years.

She is also a Community Activist and believes in leaving her community in a better state than how she found it. She serves as chair with the Tulsa's Coalition for Social Justice, activity coordinator for The Tulsa African Study Group, member of the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce and, Citizens United for a Better Educational System (C.U.B.E.S.).

Orisabiyi has been involved in initiatives such as bringing awareness and education to the community regarding Black Wall Street and The 1921 Race Massacre, taking the Klansman's name Tate Brady (who was an initiator in the Massacre of 1921) from the Brady District in Downtown Tulsa, rebuilding B.C. Franklin Park, working on political campaigns for Oklahoma State Representative Regina Goodwin and helping to establish an African American Affairs Commission in Tulsa, Oklahoma with City Council candidate and Community Activist Vanessa Hall Harper.
