Lorne D. Glowicki

Lorne Glowicki is a seasoned writer with a wealth of experience, both street-wise and life-wise. He is a former police officer, police reporter and a protective services officer, all of which has provided a fertile background for his writings.

Throughout his varied life experience, Lorne has kept his notebook close to his heart. He has filed away volumes of real life stories, told with depth, sensitivity and his unique point of view.

His spirituality is informed by various religions and Christian denominations. This includes the Ukrainian Catholic, the United Church, the Lutheran and Pentecostal Churches, and primarily by the Roman Catholic Church that this challenging work focuses on.

After his career in law enforcement, he formed Pyramid Agencies, an advertising specialties company. Later he invested in Applied Cybernetics Ltd., and became the Vice-President of Sales and Marketing.

After selling his business interests, he continued to work for several years as a District Deputy for a prominent international fraternal insurance agency.

Lorne resides in his hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He continues to live in the North End, a part of the city that has formed his well-earned wisdom, strong character and resilient spirit.
