My name is John Legget Jones.

Once a story comes to me, I have to write it. It's like having a song stuck in your head. A story comes to me and I am obsessed until I get it completed. People seem to love my stories and I hope you do too.

My fourth and latest book is Small Town Librarian. Emma is a librarian and her life had not turned out like she expected. Her father died then her mother got ill and her dreams of college and an exciting life as a writer in New York City evaporated. Forced to take her mother’s job as the town librarian and working a second job at a grocery to pay the medical bills, her life was going nowhere. She married a good man then discovered she couldn’t have children which added to her despair. Not having the life she wanted and working in a boring job, she felt trapped and hopeless. Then one day, a woman brings her a magical book and Emma's life begins to change.

My third book is Lady Rose and Mr. Stuart - Volume 1 in the Real Whisky has no 'e" series.

It is a story set in the early 1900's about an English lady (Lady Rose Cavendish) who meets a Scottish commoner (Colin Stuart). Colin is a whisky maker and when an opportunity arises to become master distiller at an American whiskey company, Colin takes it, leaving his life in Scotland behind. On the voyage to America, Colin meets Lady Rose, a Baroness, business woman, widow, and mother to nine-year-old Mia. He welcomes her company and friendship, but knows he can never have a woman of her high class. As the ship travels to America, their friendship develops into a romance.

But forces are at work to prevent Lady Rose and Colin from pursuing a life together. Rose’s lady’s maid Edith can’t stand the thought of a commoner—a Scotsman, no less—marrying the esteemed lady of the house. The odds are against Rose and Colin, she a member of high society and he a Scottish commoner. Whether their romance lasts will prove to be a test of endurance and fate.

Catherine - A Hundred Year Love Story, is my second book and it is a story of a young newly wed whose husband is listed as missing in action during World War 1. Frustrated with no news about him, she and her grandfather go to Europe to search for him. It takes nearly a hundred years for her love story to be completed. Just a hint - you will probably need a few tissues in order to read it.

My first book was Flannel Gowns and Granny Panties, it is a funny story about a marriage counselor who writes a book about his unorthodox marriage counseling practice.
