Kathleen Morrison

I've been working in commercial software engineering since 1981. Being skilled in this domain required being able to write well. Over time, an ability to write clearly and succinctly came along. Different types of writing for work prepared me well for writing my little books. For example: Quick Start technical manuals, executive summaries, and presentations. Each of these forms of writing were intended to rapidly inform and influence.

You'll notice that my mini-books are to the point. Today, in particular, people (including myself) have very little time on their hands. When they do have time to read, often, its in short bursts. This is one of the reasons why Twitter's tweets have a 140 character limit and magazine articles today often are one page or less!

With my little books, you can read a chapter in just a few minutes. And the best part? Useful info is imparted! Not everything can and should be covered like this. The topics covered here though, are generally simple to understand, but valuable!

I write about a variety of subjects: Right now, gardening is probably my favorite. I also write about healthy eating and a hobby or two. In addition to my books and blog (link below), I am vocal about the things I care about on Twitter: https://twitter.com/kgorbach
