Taqiuddin An-Nabhani

Sheikh Muhammad TaqiUddin Bin Ibrahim Bin Mustapha Bin Ismael Bin Yusuf An-Nabhani was born in Ijzim, Palestine In 1909 C.E. He hailed from a family of scholars. His father was a faqeeh and he worked as a teacher in Shari’ah disciplines in Palestine. He graduated from Al Azhar with the Shahadah Al Alamiya which is equivalent to a Phd In modern times. After his studies he worked as a judge for the Appellate court in Jerusalem for a few years, he subsequently left this position to establish Hizb Ut Tahrir, The party of liberation in 1953. He wrote over 30 books and thousands of articles and papers. He died in 1977 and was buried in the martyrs graveyard in Beirut.
