I am a graduate of Wilson College, Chambersburg, PA where history was my major. I became interested in writing my books, when I realized how uneducated my grandchildren were on basic American History. I set out to change that!

It took blood sweat and tears for this country to be born and when we won our independence from England, the founders went on to give us a written constitution for a new country. In 1776, within these 13 Colonies, there were an amazing group of men, whose vision about what a new nation would look like were able to inspire others to hang on and keep fighting for our independence . These patriots recognized that we have some unalienable rights, given by God. and that a new type of government would be able to guarantee these rights to all citizens in this new country.

The king of England didn't see it that way, but George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton, to name a few, did, and they continued the hard fight to make this a country where people were able to excel and create opportunities for themselves, which were unheard of back in the "mother country."

Join or Die is the actual truth, because those men had committed treason and should the war not be won, then the supporters would be killed because they had committed treason. The punishment for treason was death!
