June (JB) Price grew up in the hills of East Tennessee in a culture rich in storytelling. Though she left the hills, she took her love for stories with her and incorporated it into years of teaching ... in and out of the classroom.

The actual writing of stories came years later. While seeking a more effective way to communicate God's love to the ladies she was mentoring, a story line downloaded. Callie's Treasures resulted. Not only did it touch hearts, it sparked a sequel which includes threads of the lives of those impacted.

After that, writing stories which share God's heart for hurting people became her method of reaching out.
